The first week

The first few days of the new semester was a tad a bit daunting. The new classes hat we were in, YKT 211 and YKT 214, were both conducted by the lecturers that we knew before. It seems that we would be going through another thrilling semester. Another exciting matter is that there would be a group blogging assignment for our YKT 214. I am looking forward to it. There would be 15 people in a group, and we would be give roles to play, like photographer, writer, creative editor, etc. These few days, I had also been in the Foyer, wanting to interview new students. It is our way of getting to know them and helping them in anyway possible.

Another matter worth mentioning would also be that USM is on a no plastic bag campaign. Or rather, as a follow-up to the White Coffin Campaign, launched a few semesters ago, USM is now encouraging the students to reduce the wastage of plastic.

U can read more in their website, Kampus Sejahtera, or their blog. I am getting interested and keen to see the outcome and also to encourage anyone that I know to change our lifestyle. The world is ours to protect and nurture anyways.

After some respite and lack of Willpower

Worse still, my holidays will be over soon and the new semester will dawn upon me. However, as promised, there are still some updates that I need to fil everyone up with. I will attempt to finish it before going back to my old routine, or perhaps, a new one?
I'll start to upload the pics and just to fill in the captions...

Riot gathering in front of Pertama Complex

Dear readers, curently, as we speak, a riot is in place today, at 3pm. The crowds have gathered in front of the Pertama Complex, after the Friday prayers. Helicopters are seen hovering the ground as news stations cover the reports of the situation. The purpose of the riot is unknown, but a good guess would be as a protest to the recent fuel hike. It seems that after 30 minutes, the crowd has already dispered (or have made their way to the Masjid Negara or KLCC) . Scenes are caught courtesy of the camera from Miss Suraya. Crowds that have gathered
Seen from futher away
The FRU unit trucks were seen parked further down the road.

A further pic. The blue buildng is the MARA building and to its left is the Pertama Complex.

Birthday?!!!

Today, it has been a long day. Troubles just keep brewing here and there...sigh...And yet, when I recap on how those in the recent China earthquake, what I am going through, is just a fraction of what they are going through. Therefore, I would just try my best in the things that I go through. Even then, it would never measure up to what Christ Himself went through in Calvary. And yet, today is a 'special' day. The reason being, my friends celebrated my birthday early. My birthday is on the 24th of June, but my friends decided to celebrate it early... hehe...I was speechless. Here are some pictures to enjoy....Thanx guys...!!! Really appreciate it...
